Renovation of top floor apartment, creating a double height space that exposes the existing roof trusses and provides for an additional mezzanine space. A steel spiral staircase joins the two floors. Aluminum windows and doors were replaced with salvaged wood frames. Up-lighting on the beams and trusses eventuates the structure and provides indirect light.
